INFR'ACTION 010
The 6th edition of Infr�Action 010 � Festival International d�Art Performance will take place in the city of S�te. from September 15 to 19. This year the festival puts a special attention to performance art from the Scandinavian countries, i.e. Denmark, Finland, Iceland, Norway and Sweden. In partnership with Nordic Culture Point, Infr�Action receives a delegation of Nordic artists. Our choice to focus especially on artists from this region has as its reason the constant progress in these countries of this field of contemporary art. However, Infr�Action also receives artists from France, Canada, United States, the Netherlands, England, Northern Ireland, Poland, Germany, Italy, Spain and Bielorussia.
During five days 36 internationally renowned as well as emergent artists is to be discovered in the heart of the city of S�te. Open to all forms of performance and action art, whether it is oral, sonic, visual, conceptual, interactive or moreover, or an action based on new media like video, Infr�Action offers a large variety of contemporary performance art. It is here that you can come and discover new works by new as well as by artists with an international reputation.
Since six years, Infr�Action puts the beautiful Mediterranean city of S�te under the sign of performance art. When one speaks about performance art in France, for sure, Infr�Action is the first that comes to mind. The festival has been able to rely on a profound knowledge of contemporary art to become a meeting spot of young artists, as well as those who alreaday can be described as already belonging to the history of contemporary art. Infr�Action continues with the same ambition to innovate and being opened to the audience at large, the same will to develop and go beyond while at the same time staying close to its original principles : being both popular and avant-garde.

Opened in 2006, Grace Exhibition Space is devoted exclusively to Performance Art. We offer an opportunity to experience visceral and challenging works by the current generation of international performance artists whether emerging, mid-career or established. Our events are presented on the floor, not on a stage, dissolving the boundary between artist and viewer. This is how performance art is meant to be experienced and our mission is the glorification of performance art.
Grace Exhibition Space presents over 30 curated live performance art exhibitions each year, showcasing new work by more than 400 performance artists from across the United States and the world since 2006.
