The government of Brazil is actively incinerating the Amazon for the sake of urbanization and commodification. Violent deforestation has displaced and killed many indigenous communities, including the Guarani kaiowá community.
The government of Brazil continues to pardon acts of chemical warfare against the world’s largest natural resource for climate regulation. This is rapidly encouraging global warming and displacing indigenous and peasant communities within the Amazonia :

Who is behind this fundraiser?
GES & Adrians Black - Adrians is an multi-disciplinary artist born in Rio, Brazil and has been living in NYC for over 20 years.
Currently, they’re a member of AnarkoArtLab, a collective promoting a relationship between art and politics.
They created together with other members of AnarkoArtLab
The international art solidarity that Drawing upon themes of anarchism and queerness, they actively combat modes of colonialism and patriarchal capitalism with subjects that empower collectivity.
Their work ranges from audio-installations, performance, experimental digital art and site-specific public art.
