eco modular engages the audience into our ecological crisis through art the artist in residency acts as the modulator , the one that carries the message to the audience and collaborators nature can reveal itself as waveforms : audio and visuals. the artist shapes and is shaped by the interaction with other artists art can transform people hearts’ and raise awareness to issues that seem distant. this is key for our ecological

Performance : joint performances between artist in residency Raimundo Atal and guests: dance+visual art
Workshop : hold one or more workshop for the community to introduce children to science through music, sound modulation in particular.
RAIMUNDO ATAL CHOMALI
(Santiago, Chile, 1985 is a multi instrumentalist and environmentalist Known for being the drummer of Pinc Louds, iconic band of NYC
He is also the artistic and musical director of “Chile de Arriba a Abajo”, an transdisciplinary musical covering the human and physical nature of his home country, Chile He holds a Phd in Sustainable Development from Columbia University and currently teaches Economics of Sustainability at CUNY
He is one of the leading researchers of an estimation of the value of ecosystem services along the Chilean coastline. Musically, his work blends tradition with what are typically labeled “ sounds." He is working on his first solo album. In March and April he is curating “Humans and the Machines” a series of performances at Hart Bar, NYC, featuring more than 10 artists from NY and the east coast

This is how performance art is meant to be experienced and our mission is the glorification of performance art.
Grace Exhibition Space presents over 30 curated live performance art exhibitions each year, showcasing new work by more than 400 performance artists from across the United States and the world since 2006.
