Arielle Bier and Adina Bier explore the boundaries and
freedoms of twinning and Interconnectedness , through live installation/durational performances in the gallery.
The sisters will create an encapsulating lair using webbing and suspended pods of sheet rope to perform in. Inspirations for this work include ritualistic practices such as inuit throat singing, butoh dance and nesting.
The Bier sisters have been living and working together since they moved back to Brooklyn in 2008.
